The HfG Ulm - A short history // How we came to be where we are

The booklet is a short narrative about the HFG Ulm. It is a conversation between a student and teacher. The student builds a stool which, unfortunately, is an exact copy of the ‘Ulm stool’ by Max Bill. Unaware of its creator, the student thinks that it has created something that does not exist. Lack of exposure to design history and design products of the past reinforces the importance to teach history at design schools in INDIA.
